Johannes and Thomas presented survey results at expert advisory board meeting and took part in expert workshop

On December 1, Johannes Buchner and Thomas Decker from our research group MNR presented the key results of a large online survey of farmers at the third meeting of the TrAkzeptanz project’s expert advisory board in Heilbronn. They explained the design, implementation, and evaluation of the survey and provided comprehensive insights into the expectations and perspectives of agricultural practitioners regarding climate-friendly propulsion systems.

The MNR research group was also represented at the meeting of the “Renewable Drive Energy for Agriculture and Forestry” (PEALF) platform the following day. Together with agricultural machinery manufacturers, associations, and other research institutions, they engaged in an in-depth discussion of the general sentiment at AGRITECHNICA 2025 and the visibility of renewable drive technologies at the event.

On December 3, Johannes Buchner also participated in an expert workshop at the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart. The workshop focused on identifying drivers, barriers, and trends for the electrification of agriculture. Here, too, he was able to contribute the survey findings from the farmer questionnaire to the discussions and solution approaches.

The TrAkzeptanz project team thanks all participants for the constructive exchange over the past few days and looks forward to continuing the collaboration at the next meeting on May 19, 2026, in Munich.
