Advancing Collaboration in Climate-Responsive Sustainable Resource Management TUM-UNESP Doctoral Winter School

From 9 to 13 December 2024, our team member, Johannes Buchner, took part in the second leg of the TUM-UNESP Summer/Winter School at various TUM campuses: Munich City Campus, Freising-Weihenstephan, Straubing Campus for Biotechnology and Sustainability, and Garching Research Campus.

This unique Winter School brought together ten doctoral candidates from TUM and UNESP, fostering international collaboration and interdisciplinary learning on the theme of “Climate-Responsive Sustainable Resource Management.”

The program featured:
🔍 Keynotes and discussions on innovative strategies for sustainable resource use.
📊 Poster presentations showcasing participants' doctoral research projects.
🚀 Site visits highlighting bioeconomy projects and new practices in sustainable technologies.
🛠️ Workshops on transferable skills, including intercultural competencies, research dissemination, and exploring funding opportunities for international collaborations.
