Agriculture Minister Rainer learns about renewable drive energies at ErneuerBar

Together with his colleagues from the Technology and Support Center, Dr. Thomas Decker discussed the various possible applications of alternative drive energies for tractors with Federal State Agriculture Minister Alois Rainer.

Mr. Rainer visited the “ErneuerBar” stand run by the Technology and Promotion Center at the world's largest agricultural technology trade fair (Agritechnica). During the discussion, Dr. Thomas Decker was able to inform the Minister of Agriculture about the highly innovative “TrAkzeptanz” project (https://www.hswt.de/forschung/projekt/2192-trakzeptanz). This project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, is investigating which climate-friendly drives farmers will prefer in the future and what alternatives to agricultural diesel are possible (link to TrAkzeptanz). In addition to the Department of Marketing and Management of Renewable Resources, the German Bioenergy Association (BBE) and the Technology and Support Center (TFZ) are also involved in the TrAkzeptanz project.
