As part of the 18th Scientific Conference on Organic Agriculture (WiTa) 2026, the research project SoLaBay was presented and discussed in a workshop with interested participants. The focus was on the potential of social farming as well as the needs involved in establishing new projects.Farming, especially Lena Franke (Entspinnerei) and Dr. Stefanie Hecht (Network Alma), for the productive collaboration.
A key outcome of the exchange was the great importance of networking, exchange formats, and practical insights, for example through farm visits.
The workshop also provided an opportunity to reflect on current developments in the field of social farming and to discuss perspectives for the further development of corresponding networks.
